📜 Registration Terms & Policies

1. Agreement Overview

By completing this registration form and submitting your application, you (the "Participant") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all terms and conditions outlined in this document. This agreement is legally binding between you and Cher's Language Learning Center.

2. 🚫 No Refund Policy

• Registration Fee (600 GMD): Once paid, the registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. This fee covers administrative processing, placement assessment, and enrollment setup.
• Course Fees: Once course fees have been paid and the registration process is completed, no refunds will be issued regardless of the reason, including but not limited to:
  • Change of mind or personal circumstances
  • Inability to attend scheduled classes
  • Failure to complete the course
  • Relocation or travel conflicts
  • Work or academic schedule changes
  • Medical reasons (unless accompanied by valid documentation and at the sole discretion of the Center)
• Course Transfers: Requests to transfer to a different course or schedule may be considered on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed. A transfer fee may apply.
• Partial Attendance: Failure to attend or complete the course does not entitle you to any refund, credit, or compensation.

3. 📚 Intellectual Property and Distribution Policy

All study materials, notes, handouts, exercises, recordings, videos, slides, and any other academic or instructional content provided to participants by Cher's Language Learning Center are the exclusive intellectual property of the Center.

• Personal Use Only: Materials are provided solely for your personal use as an enrolled student.
• Prohibited Actions: You may NOT copy, reproduce, share, upload, sell, or distribute any materials — whether in part or in full — to any third party, online platform, or public space without prior written consent from the Center.
• Includes: This prohibition applies to sharing via messaging apps (WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.), social media, email, print, digital means, or any other method of distribution.
• Consequences: Unauthorized sharing or redistribution of materials constitutes a violation of intellectual property rights and may result in:
  • Legal action
  • Immediate termination of enrollment
  • Suspension of access to future courses

4. 💰 Payment Terms

• Registration Fee: A one-time, non-refundable fee of 600 GMD is required to complete enrollment.
• Same-Day Completion: Registration and full course payment should ideally be completed on the same day.
• Payment Confirmation: After making payment, you must notify us via WhatsApp at (+220) 216 5287 to confirm and receive your official receipt.

5. 👥 Sponsor/Guardian Verification

• If a third party (sponsor, next of kin, or guardian) is listed as responsible for payment, Cher's Language Learning Center will contact them within 2 business days to verify their involvement and payment responsibilities.
• If accurate contact information is not provided, or if the sponsor cannot be reached, enrollment may be paused until verification is complete.
• Both the Participant and Sponsor (if applicable) are fully responsible for all financial obligations.

6. ✅ Declaration of Honesty

By submitting this registration, you declare that:

• All information provided is truthful, accurate, and complete.
• Any misrepresentation or omission may result in denial or cancellation of enrollment.
• You understand and accept all policies outlined in this agreement.
• You are committed to fulfilling all financial obligations associated with your enrollment.

7. 📋 Course Attendance & Conduct

• Regular attendance is expected. Excessive absences may affect your progress and certificate eligibility.
• Participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully towards instructors and fellow students.
• Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the course without refund.

8. 📜 Certificate of Attendance

• A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded upon successful course completion.
• Certificates are issued in accordance with NAQAA (National Accreditation and Quality Assurance Authority) guidelines.
• Eligibility requires satisfactory attendance and participation as determined by the Center.

9. ⚠️ Important Notes

• This agreement is legally binding. Both parties are expected to comply with all provisions.
• Fraudulent actions or failure to comply with terms may lead to termination of enrollment.
• Cher's Language Learning Center reserves the right to modify course schedules, materials, or instructors as needed.
• Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of The Gambia.

10. ⚖️ Dispute Resolution and Indemnification

• Indemnification and Legal Costs: In the unlikely event of a dispute or disagreement between the Student and Cher's Language Learning Center arising from this Registration Agreement or the provision of educational services that results in legal action, the Student agrees to bear their own legal costs and fees. Cher's Language Learning Center shall not be responsible for any court fees, attorney fees, or other legal expenses incurred by the Student.
• Hold Harmless: The Student agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Cher's Language Learning Center, its owners, employees, instructors, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
  • The Student's violation of these terms and policies
  • The Student's conduct during enrollment or on Center premises
  • Disputes between the Student and any third party related to their enrollment
  • Any misrepresentation or breach of any representation made by the Student
• Limitation of Liability: Cher's Language Learning Center's total liability to the Student for any claims arising from or related to this agreement shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Student for their current course enrollment.
• Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The Gambia. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the appropriate courts of The Gambia.
